Opening Ceremony to be bold, original and unique

WEB Le Pladec will lead 400 dancers out of the total 3,000 artists who are set to take part in the Paris 2024 Opening and Closing Ceremonies altogether.

The Opening Ceremony of the 2024 Olympic Games will be bold, original and unique. On 26 July 2024, Paris 2024 will offer an Opening Ceremony that is spectacular, innovative and inclusive and will be broadcast live on France Télévisions.

The Ceremony will be directed by Thomas Le Ludec, and choreographed by Sadeck Berrabah and Marjorie Ascione. Together, they have imagined an artistic concept that celebrates the power of sport and the unifying spirit of the Games. The Ceremony will feature around 3,000 artists, including 400 dancers led by renowned choreographer Yoann Bourgeois, and a cast of diverse performers from all walks of life.

The Opening Ceremony will be held at the Stade de France, and will be the first time that the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games has been held outside of a stadium. The ceremony will start at 8:00 p.m. local time and will last for approximately three hours.
